Make A 3d Poster

3D art is becoming more and more popular.

3D artwork is a hard technique to learn. It differs tremendously from the flat and traditional 2D art most artists come up with. That being said, you don't need a degree in graphic design to invent a 3D poster to get someone's attention. It just takes some practice to learn see things in a 3D concept and then create the 3D art.

Instructions

1. Find a graphics editing program with 3D support that you'd like to use to make your poster.

2. Try Blender. There is a download link in the Resources section. Blender is an open source program meaning it is 100 percent free to download and use for as long as you want. Blender specializes in 3D rendering. While it is mainly used for movie editing or animation, you can use the 3D tools to make a poster image.

3. Try Maya (please see the Resources section for a link). Maya is a top of the line 3D rendering software that must be purchased. This software will allow you to create several 3D objects for your poster and then combine them into one artwork. Maya comes out with a new version of its software every year, and each new version has more and more features.

4. Try Photoshop. Photoshop is also software that must be purchased and is considered top of the line. It is made by Adobe. While it may specialize in 2D art, the software does include 3D artwork support. One of the special features about Photoshop is you can apply several special filters to your poster to create the 3D illusion.
