Find Sweepstakes To Enter

This article answers the following questions: How can I find sweepstakes and contests to enter? How can I enter sweepstakes efficiently and maximize my wins? And, how can I keep track of the sweepstakes I have entered?

Instructions

1. To find sweepstakes and contests to enter, begin looking at magazines that you may already subscribe to! Woman's Day, Better Homes & Gardens, and Good Housekeeping all run several contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways that you can enter online. There are also online groups that put together organized lists of sweeps to enter. My favorite is Sweepstakes Advantage, but you can also check out Online Sweepstakes, Sweepstakes Today, and Sweetie's Sweeps.

2. Filling out all those online forms can be a chore, and discourages many potential sweepstakes winners! To enter sweepstakes online in a fast and easy way, download the free form filling and password management software RoboForm. With this software, you will be able to complete name, address, and email forms with a simple click. (*NOTE: Some sweepstakes specify that robotic or macro entries are not valid, but it is up to you to decide if this violates the rules of the sweepstakes you are entering. Read the sweepstakes rules. Typically there are additional fields you have to fill out by hand. Using RoboForm is a speedier version of AutoComplete, which creates the drop-down menu you see when you start filling out a form field.)

3. Some sweepstakes only allow one entry per household. These are fun to enter and forget about. I have won two sweepstakes that were one-entry only and it was a pleasant surprise to receive a package in the mail or get an unexpected call saying "you won!" Additionally, one-entry sweeps have better odds. Everyone has an equal number of entries.

4. If you enter sweepstakes that allow you to enter daily, it is important that you get organized. Keeping track of your "Dailies" is easy with your Internet Favorites. Firefox has the most intuitive Favorites setup, but this organization can be accomplished in Internet Explorer as well. Set up a separate folder for your "Daily Entries". When you bookmark the entry page, put the deadline at the beginning of the title. This will help you weed out the expired sweeps and maintain your organization.

5. Set aside a certain time to go through your Favorites list and enter, enter, enter! You can't win if you don't enter, and the more entries you have the better your odds!
