Black Jack
is a surgeon with a dark past.
Black Jack is the lead of a popular manga and anime series, created by Osamu Tezuka. Tezuka created a number of other popular manga characters such as Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. Black Jack is a shadowy and mysterious character, a medical Robin Hood, providing strange and complex surgeries to the rich and using his profits to help those in need. Black Jack has a distinctive look, as well: a portion of the skin on his face was replaced due to a horrible accident. Black Jack has a number of looks, due to his long history and the number of artists who worked on the project. In some colorizations, the blue section of Black Jack's face is brown. Jack's eyes are sometimes colored red as well, so red contact lenses are an optional addition to the costume. A surgical mask can be added to the costume if desired.
Instructions
1. Paint a diagonal section of your face with the blue face paint.
2. Outline the blue portion with the black paint, adding perpendicular hash marks to create the look of stitches.
3. Style your hair.
4. Put on the pants, boots and shirt.
5. Place the blue ribbon under the collar of the shirt, like a tie.
6. Tie the ribbon into a large bow.
7. Put on the trench coat.
