Download a Song Playing on a Website


Nowadays, there is plenty of music available for streaming all over the Internet. Even radio stations are offering streaming songs on their websites. There are ways you can record this audio as MP3 and save them on the computer. You can then transfer them to a portable MP3 playing devices or burn them to CDs.


Instructions


Using Freecorder


1. Download and install Freecorder. Freecorder is a small application that appears on your web browser's toolbar after installation.


2. Click on the "Settings" button after installation. Specify whether you want the recorded songs in MP3 format or WAV. You can also select a destination folder for the songs.


3. Play the song, which you want to download, on the website. As the song starts to play, click the red "Record" button on the Freecorder toolbar of your browser. As it captures the audio, you will see green lines moving up and down.


4. Click the "Stop" button when the song has finished. Go to the desktop or whichever folder you saved the file in. You can now play the song in the computer's media player.


Using MP3myMP3


5. Download and install MP3myMP3. Open the application after installation and click on the "Source" button.


6. Choose "Stereo Mix" as the sound source.


7. Open the song you want to download on your web browser.


8. Click "Play" on the website. At the same time, click the "Record" button on MP3myMP3 window.


9. Click "Stop" when the song has finished playing.


Using MP3 Stream Recorder


10. Download and install MP3 Stream Recorder. Open the song that you wish to download on your web browser.


11. Click on the address bar of your browser where the song is being played at the moment. Now press "Ctrl" + "C" to copy the website's URL.


12. Open MP3 Stream Recorder. Click on the address box in MP3 Stream Recorder video. Now press "Ctrl" + "V" to paste the URL here.


13. Specify a destination folder where you want the recorded file to save. The song will then start downloading.
