Download Video Streams From Websites

Streaming videos are those that you watch on websites such as YouTube. You can watch these videos without downloading the entire file because it's being "streamed" directly to your computer from the website. But if you want to actually watch the video while not online, you'll need to actually download it. You can use a special conversion website to capture videos in the format of your choice.

Instructions

1. Copy the address of the video on a website you want by loading the video page and clicking on the address at the top.

2. Visit a website such as Convertfiles.com. Click on the "URL Download" tab.

3. Right-click on the "URL" text box. Select "Paste." The address you copied earlier will appear in the box.

4. Click on "Output format" and select a video format you would like to watch the video in. For example, you can used "WMV" if you want to watch the video in Windows Media Player. Click "Download."

5. Click on the link for your new file when it appears to download it.
