Make A Birthday Greeting Card

Creating birthday greeting cards can be fun for artists and crafters, and the recipients will feel honored with these distinctive, personalized cards, especially when they're made with affection.

Instructions

1. Plan your theme according to the personality of the recipient and your relationship to them. If the recipient is a golfer, gourmet cook, wine enthusiast, world traveler or seamstress, plan a theme around those particular interests. A young boy might love a cowboy or sports theme, a young girl may be thrilled with a ballerina or Hannah Montana theme.

2. Fold a piece of construction paper in half, cutting it down to size if you prefer a smaller card.

3. Write a colorful birthday message on the outside of the card, and a personalized message inside. Draw a colorful picture if you like.

4. Glue on some glitter, confetti, or torn scraps of colorful tissue paper, or attach some whimsical stickers. Allow the glue to dry.

5. Present the personalized birthday card to the happy recipient.
