Emboss Napkins

Embossed napkins make nice mementos.

Extra touches at your dining table or party are what people notice. Embossing is a low-cost way to add sophistication to paper napkins. Hand-held embossers raise circular monograms or designs on paper. Emboss cocktail, dessert, or dinner napkins quickly and easily. Select paper napkins with a linen look for a more formal dinner decoration.

Instructions

1. Prepare a clean work area to emboss your napkins. You will not be able to use napkins that are soiled or wet.

2. Set a tray on the table to hold your napkins. Arrange them as you want to see them at your dinner or party.

3. Decide where you want to see the embossing on the napkin. With the ruffled end of the napkin facing you, slide the embosser over this ruffled, bottom edge, centering the medallion in the location you selected.

4. Squeeze the two handles of the embosser together. Hold in place for a second, then release. Repeat this process for the remaining napkins.
