Make A Flyer In Microsoft Word

You can make a flyer using a template in Microsoft Word.

Flyers are useful, low-cost advertising tools. You can use Microsoft Word to create flyers to your liking. The program includes numerous templates to make the job even easier. Deciding on the template you want to use could be the hardest part. Once you determine that, you can insert the information you want to include and start advertising.

Instructions

1. Open Microsoft Word. Click the "File" tab and click "New" to open a new document.

2. Click "Flyers" under Office.com Templates. Browse through the templates and click the one you want to use. That opens another window.

3. Click the "Download" button to download that particular flyer template to your computer. Click "Accept" to accept Microsoft's service agreement, and the flyer template will download to your computer.

4. Type the information you want to include on your flyer into the appropriate fields on your template. Change the font size, justification and styles from the Microsoft Ribbon.

5. Add any clip art, shapes or images that are related to the flyer topic from the Insert menu tab.

6. Click the "File" button and "Save As" once you've entered all the information you want to include. Enter a name for the document and change the Save as Type to "Word Document" so that you do not overwrite your template.

7. Click "File," hover your mouse over "Print" and click "Print Preview" to see how your flyer will look when printed. If you're not happy with it, make the necessary changes and re-save it.
